With a AIM Control “Inspection Certificate” exporters may be sure to negotiate their Letter of Credit (L/C) under the Central Bank of the Islamic Republic of Iran (CBI) regulation.

The government of the Islamic Republic of Iran today also gives high priority to promoting international trade while protecting consumer health, safety and the environment. ISIRI (Institute of Standard and Industrial Research of Iran) calls for the intervention of independent third-party companies as a way to maintain full control on goods entering the domestic market.

What is PSI?
The Pre-shipment Inspection involves visual verification of quality, quantity, packing and marking of the goods against buyer’s specifiations and in line with Letter of Credit requirements prior to shipment.

What is VOC?
Imports to Iran are subject to regulation 59366 of October 2001, which made it mandatory to inspect numerous imported products and imposed the need for a conformity certificate in accordance with the standards as accepted by ISIRI. The exporters to Iran must present the conformity proof of their products in accordance with International Standards (ISO, ITU, IEC, CODEX, EN) and/or local Standards (NF, BS, DIN, etc.) as laid down by ISIRI.
